Of course, resourceful PC players have a solution for everything. Follow the steps below to get around the pesky opening cinematic:

1. Go to your game files
2. Look for Borderlands3/OakGames/Content/Movies
3. Locate the file called Marcus_Intro
4. Change the file name (it doesn't matter what it's changed to)
   • However, do not delete the file

If you want to skip the splash screens, too, change the 'LOGO' files found in the same folder. It won't net you any trophies or achievements, but it will help you get into the game even faster.

1. You can skip character and DLC intro cutscenes in the game with a simple modification to a configuration file. This can only effect cutscenes that are played from video files and not rendered in game like boss intros or other in-game events. 27. As far as comments go in the configuration files there is no actual defined character for comments. Any special character will make the game ignore that line as far as I know. A space or deleting lines may work as well, but commenting them out makes it easier to remember what you changed and to revert changes.
